Liam Hart

Homa Qualified Psychotherapist & Counsellor

I’m a humanistic therapist based in East London, offering in-person and online sessions.

Perhaps you are feeling anxious, depressed, stuck, overwhelmed or burned out. You may be finding relationships with family, partners, friends or colleagues difficult to navigate. Therapy offers a consistent space to reflect, explore, and make sense of what you are experiencing, while opening up the possibility of new perspectives.

I see therapy as your time, a space that belongs to you entirely. You can bring whatever you’re feeling or experiencing, and know it will be met with openness and respect. Whether you want to talk, reflect, explore, rant, laugh, cry or find a few moments of peace, I will work at your pace. I won’t rush you or set an agenda.

My approach is relational, shaped by what feels most useful in the moment. Together we might notice patterns in relationships, how feelings show up in the body, or how the past is alive in the present. I support people to explore their experiences, to understand themselves more fully, and to find new ways of living. Any experience can be a starting point, whether it feels significant or

not. Therapy can be about working towards change, or simply having a regular space to turn up as you are.

My path into personal therapy began in my mid twenties, during a period of severe anxiety and depression. I’ve found that long-term humanistic therapy gives us the space to speak openly, to be curious, and to explore our inner world in new ways. Over time it can help us feel more grounded, reconnect with parts of ourselves we may have lost touch with, and open up a fuller experience of our emotions, whatever we might be going through.

My work is informed by ongoing reflection on social justice and I want my practice to be a space where everyone feels welcome. I am committed to staying open and always willing to learn.

Alongside my work as a therapist, I have over twenty years’ experience in the music industry, running live venues and touring internationally as a musician. That world has shaped a big part of who I am, and it gives me an understanding of the rewards and pressures of creative work, as well as the impact it can have on mental health, relationships, and self-worth. My practice is open to anyone, whatever your background or profession.

Sessions

Most people find that weekly 50-minute sessions give therapy a steady rhythm, but we can talk together about what feels right for you.

Fees

I have a sliding scale of £75 to £95 per session. I’m always open to a conversation depending on your current circumstances.

Contact

If you’re curious about working together, you can reach me by phone, text, or email. I’m happy to answer questions or arrange a 15 minute phone call to talk through what you need. From there, we can book an initial session and see how it feels to work together.
