Jay Stewart
I bring a flexible and client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from a range of therapeutic models to best suit the unique needs of you. I’m grounded in empathy, active listening, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I combine elements of person-centred and psychodynamic insight to support you in understanding your emotions and common themes.
One of my key specialities is in bereavement and loss, an area in which I have experience supporting individuals through the complex and often isolating journey of grief, providing a compassionate and non-judgmental space for you to explore.
My aim is to help you process your current and historical challenges at your own pace, while also working towards meaning-making and emotional resilience. I am particularly mindful of how cultural background, faith, and family systems influence grief and trauma and I strive to honour those elements in the therapeutic space. My goal is to walk alongside you, whilst you navigate their healing process, empowering them to reconnect with themselves and find new pathways forward.
I’m BACP registered and work in line with their ethical framework.
I offer sessions online & in person at a cost of £65
