Integrative psychotherapy offers a supportive relationship based on compassion and deep listening as a way to be with and meet the events in our lives. Through presence we are able to come into an embodied way of being with what is, and in turn to process, transform and integrate our experience into a greater ground of wholeness, health and vitality. Psychotherapy facilitates such a process which allows us to enter into a safe, supportive and constructive dialogue with ourselves and the other.

Drawing from psychodynamic, mindfulness, somatic, existential-humanistic and transpersonal approaches, Integrative Psychotherapy offers a psychotherapeutic journey to healing that takes into account our unique histories, wounds, strengths and longings. To that extent every client is uniquely received for who they are. The psychotherapeutic process offers ways to discover and attune to our wholeness and resources to meet our lives with greater resilience, depth, joy and empathetic understanding.

I have an MA from Karuna Institute, with ongoing trainings in Embodied Presence (Riyaz Motan, California Institute of Integral Studies – consultation group; also co-hosted a course in this approach with Riyaz) and with Victor Yalom in Existential-Humanistic therapy (consultation group). With a background in philosophy (BA), Indology/Buddhist Studies (5 years in India and Sri Lanka ), as a Yoga Teacher (500 hr), and a multicultural perspective on the world (5 countries on 3 different continents), I endeavour to meet you for the unique person you are. Whilst working somatically in a relational manner, the process of therapy is a return home to ourselves and our place in the world.

I have experience working with anxiety, loss, relationships, transitions, trauma, depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, loneliness, body image, work issues and spiritual emergence and emergency to name a few areas. Psychotherapy can also be less focused on particular issues and can support one’s self development, well-being and finding greater purpose and meaning in life. As we learn to listen into our ever-unfolding experience psychotherapy can also unravel unbidden parts of ourselves in organic and healings ways as we become more acquainted with the ground of our being.

I offer both short and long-term therapy, in-person as well as online. If you have interest in starting I offer 30 mins initial consultation free of charge. My rates are £65 in-person and £50 online.
